In fact, it proves that you are strong enough to show others the less perfect-parts of your life. If someone doesn't seem to understand, that also doesn't mean that they'll never understand. Sometimes people just need a little time.

Cell phone use may lead to a greater incidence of depression and anxiety in users. As tempting as it is right now, spending hours every day on social media is not good for your mental health. At best, you'll distract yourself from the essentials - at worst, you'll internalize all the bad news and outrage online.

Limit the use of smartphones, after a day of use - it's better if you keep yourself away from smartphones after nighttime. Negative-feedback from the internet can take a toll on your mental health. If you use digital products wisely such as giving or reading inspiration, creative things, or as a means of education, it will be able to make your day feel more fun.

Not using drugs and alcohol is one of them. Use as little as possible and avoid other drugs. Sometimes people use alcohol and other drugs to "self-medicate" but in reality, alcohol and other drugs only make the problem worse.

Everyone needs to surround themselves with positive people, this will not only result in better mental health but will also have a big impact on everyone you come in contact with be it your friends, your family, or at work.

If you surround yourself-with uplifting, nurturing, happy, inspiring, and empowering people, you will have a better spirit. This is because a positive attitude is contagious.

Make time for hobbies


The main purpose of a hobby is to give you the opportunity to express yourself and relax at the same time. People who make time for hobbies rarely suffer from stress, depression and bad moods so it is so-important to our mental health that we find activities that will take us out, make us feel happier and more relaxed.

We all are sometimes tired or overwhelmed by our feelings or when things don't go according to plan. Seeking help is a sign of strength-not weakness. Humans are social creatures with an emotional need for positive relationships and connections with others. We are not superhuman.
